@s3quy0ah Artist Statement
I am a multidisciplinary artist driven by a lifelong enjoyment for expression, storytelling, and exploration. My creative journey began in childhood, sketching cartoons while watching them, drawing comic book characters, and instinctively translating imagination into form. I moved out of fascination with what creativity could become. Drawing from a background in customer service, seminary psychology and computer science, these disciplines expanded my creative framework. They sharpened my understanding of symbolism, consciousness, structure, and systems that continue to inform my artistic practice today. In 2002, I founded Sequyoah’s Tree as a platform for personalized art and poetry. While the initial launch faced challenges, I remained committed. I continued to write, paint, design, and experiment across mediums. That persistence shaped the foundation of my practice and reinforced my belief in art as both process and presence.
Sequyoah’s Tree has evolved into an independent creative studio with an ever expanding body of work. My portfolio is pencil-to-paper drawing, fine art prints, canvas works, motion graphics, NFTs, generative art, product branding, immersive visual storytelling and more. Each piece reflects an intentional synthesis of traditional artistry and emerging digital processes. Working under the artist handle @s3quy0ah, my work explores philosophical, supernatural, and spiritual themes through symbolic narratives and generative elements. Imagery that feels ceremonial, introspective, and atmospheric. Visual spaces where metaphysical ideas can take form and emotion can linger. My practice focuses on translating intangible concepts into immersive, emotionally resonant works that bridge material and digital realms.
Today, I continue to expand my practice through technological innovation, embracing it as a living extension of my creative language. My work exists at the intersection of art, technology, and spirituality. I aim to create works that invite contemplation, reward sustained engagement, and function as enduring visual meditations.
